Moto Droid manual

Hi all,
My name is Moondog and "I'm a tehno-phobic Moto Droid newbie".

There, I admit it!

Although the Droid is pretty easy on the basic stuff, I am sure that there is lots more I could do with the phone.

I've read the online manual, but it doesn't get into much detail.

Does anybody know where I could find more in-depth instructions?

Hello Moonie, and welcome.

A lot of the power of the phone comes in the form of apps, and given the plethora (do you know what a "plethora" is heffey?) of different apps out there, a comprehensive, in depth manual becomes somewhat of an impossibility.

But FEAR NOT!

For this here forum is full of freindly people who will gladly answer your questions, unless of course the question has already been asked 90,000 times in which case you should have done your forum searching before hand. (HINT, do not ask what "rooting" is)

Anywho, good luck, play, enjoy.
 
my advice.. search for the thread "POST YOUR DROID SCREEN' you will see a lot of apps that others have on their screens that you may like.. i found a lot thru that thread.. and really, just read thru these forums.. theres a lot on here. ive had my droid for over a month and still play around daily with it, changing things, adding apps, customizing it as my mood changes :) ... have fun !
