Last night, we had a fire in the backyard ... several friends came over to share some drinks, s'mores, ... you know, the usual. The stars started to come out so I pulled out the DROID and fired up Google Sky Map. My friend pulled out his iPhone 3G and fired up the best app that he could find that "tried" to emulate Sky Map. It wasn't long before he, I, and all the other said, "Wow. No comparison." <insert condescending grin emoticon>
Now, Dave (aka 'iPhone owner') and I can really care less about whose phone is "better". His company has a contract with AT&T, and mine with Verizon ... so we're kinda locked in, if you know what I mean. But still .... it made the DROID look just a bit cooler last night.
(Not to mention something as simple as my options for home-replacement apps.)
