Help Moto g first gen

Hey guys. Anyone got any idea how to make this phone run smoother than is. I know that it's struggling due to a lack of ram but simple things like using Swiftkey and it lags or plays up. Works fine using Google keyboard and other apps like twitter tweetings and keyboards such as Swype and flexsy but struggles with some apps. Any advice pls shout me thanks in advance

Google search: "wipe cache partition from recovery on (your phone)" and try that.
It doesnt wipe any important data
