Backing up your device data (WiFi passwords, call history, contacts, etc.) and app data is easy.
  • Open the Settings app
  • Scroll down and select Backup & reset
  • Tap on Back up my data
  • Tap the switch and set it to the On position
Once turned on, your Moto G5 Plus will periodically save your device and app data (based on developer settings). Once backed up, you can restore this data whenever you log into a different Android device with your account.
