Moto X Pre-Order

Just a heads up for anyone interested in the Pre-order for Moto X. The Website is A Disaster. You will wait for hours for Live support only to be informed that no agents are available when you hit the top of the queue. Phone support is even worse obviously. What really galls me is they do not even have the decency to post something on their website alerting people not to waste their time and point out when they will have some sort of resolution to their ineptness. Run away from that website.......:mad::mad:
 
I have not been able to get on to it, but i figured it was my work computer. I was able to do what i wanted, which was just to play around, on my phone. I cant order until tonight so i guess i will see how it is when i get home. Or i may just do it from my phone. lol
 
I just got a response from someone on the Motorola owners forums who indicated problem is being worked on, 1st actual positive movement I have seen yet......

I'm guessing this is the new Moto X (Moto X (2014)) you are talking about. If so I will move the thread to that forum.

Thank you, I did not know there was a separate forum for the 2014 X. By the way, over 5 hours out from scheduled Pre-order liftoff and still no working website....
 
I haven't had any problems with the website either. Is it that when you go to buy you can't check out?

I've been on there at least 3 or 4 times and everything worked fine for me.
 
I would love to get a hold of a Pure Edition BUT THE LOUSY WEBSITE IS Still Not working on tablet, computer using IE or Firefox or Chrome, even tried Dolphin to no avail 36 HOURS LATER. here is a sample of the messages received when attempting checkout, "We are experiencing issues processing your financing payment. Please resubmit your order at your convenience. If you continue to experience issues or have questions please call 1-855-334-3613 (TDD/TTY 1-888-819-1918)." Phone # gets you to a rep with Motorolas own finance company who will tell you there is nothing wrong with the financing, it is a motorola mobility website problem and when you contact Motorola (if you are lucky to get through to anyone) you get a case # that is then ignored by their company. The other message that will appear when processing order is "some items in your cart are no longer available." Too bad, they are offering long term zero finance options which are basically unusable since their website is so crippled.
