MotoDroid AutoRotate screen problems

MotoDroid 2.2. Since 2.2, the auto-rotate screen goes haywire from time to time. I normally use the vertical format, easier to type, but when it switches, not much screen left, and I have to go back and back to start over again.

I locked it in vertical a long time ago, while still running 2.1. Too many annoyances.

It switches to horizontal when the keyboard slides out, but no inertial switches.

if you find your home screen switches alot why not use autoRotate app. your option to turn the rotate on or lock it in vert hold. I use it and what a frkn diff. dont have to wait for it to "reset" like you mention.....and it will go into hor if you slide keyboard. I love that app

That sounds the same as the native functionality in settings, I think.

perhaps but it allows me to have that option on my screen
