Motorcycle: Evo 4g and Scala Rider G4

I just got the g4 powerset and I have to say they are awesome!

I can control the music from the g4 unit while my phone is in my pocket. If I'm listening to my music and I have google nav on, the nav voice will play over the music then go right back to the music. The forward and backward buttons also change the song which is great when the song you are listening to sux.

My only issue is after an intercom call with my gf on the other g4 unit my music does not go back to playing.. Not sure why and I thought I would see if anyone else had the problem..

Also I have twist player installed and that is the player the unit uses..

Please let me hear your experiences with the G4 units

First: I have no experience with a music unit for a helmet.
Second: I ride a scooter (1974 Vespa Primavera). I've thought about getting some sort of bluetooth device so I can talk on the phone while riding. But, that seems INSANELY dangerous. Not being able to hear the cars around me while listening to music/talking to someone on the phone.

do you have the vox on auto on her unit. I have the Scala rider team-set and if my girl set it like that it will mute all audio but her unless a call comes in . i have to set it so she has to tap it to talk

I have been seeking a bluetooth helmet speaker solution forever. Something that will A2DP to the phone, and give me a remote somewhere also, all without wires. I'd kill my mother to find something that does it.

Earbuds are illegal in Florida, but helmet speakers are not.

get the cardo scala rider g4! phone calls, navigation, music (all ad2p) and 1 mile intercom range!

my gf uses vox and so do i but when we are listening to music (not in standby) one of us has to press the channel A button in order to start the intercom.. is this not the way it is supposed to be? EDIT: i just tried to use VOX in standby and i couldn't get an intercom session to start.. hmmm

so after your intercom session is over, your music just goes back to playing?

also, when you press the mp3 button, does is first play, then pause, the stop then play, then pause, then stop etc.. i wish i could skip stop.. cause if i pause i then have to stop and the play (thus the song starts over)

sorry took a wile to respond , the g4 may differ the the team set. When i use the Bluetooth audio it will just mute the music when she use the ptt button . vox take a loud word or a noise to start up. so its just easier for her to use the ptt button . now i will say the vox when on take forever to time out and for the music or Bluetooth to come back on
