Root Motorola and their locked bootloader

I think the vulnerable recovery didn't work. Did it say PASS in RSD Lite when you flashed it?

yes, it said "PASS"

It started to execute % while the phone was booting and once it booted- several seconds later it showed "PASS" and then nothing, I normally restarted the phone and went into recovery and this message pop-up..

How can I fix this now, if I leave it like this- is the phone ok?

Then the only thing to try is to flash a SBF and then try again with the vulnerable recovery. Follow the guide you linked to earlier.

what is your advice? is it smart to keep my phone on 800MHz? What is safe speed for the cpu doesn't get overheated?

But don't you think it's a bit risky, if the voltage rise as well as cpu clock? May be we making the life of ours phones shorter, just don't know..

I overclock my home CPU in far greater amounts of voltage than this. Mobile processors tend to be more resilient in terms of temps purely because they are designed that way as they have no active cooling.

I really wouldn't worry. If you are planning on changing your phone in the next two-three years you're pretty much fine.

Who doesn't ;-) My phones are lucky to last me a year.....because there's always something not quite right yet.

I've been on 1GHz for about 20 hours now. Battery life is still the same, everything is smoother. The Milestone now easily rivals Desire performance and has become an absolute keeper!

According to a forum member on android-hilfe, the CPU life expectancy after overclocking is about five years. In that time I bet you'll change a couple of devices.

I've noticed that after the device goes to idle state and is later awakened the clock resets to 550 MHz. You can use SetCPU to remedy that. And after you restart the phone you need to reload the kernel module with milestone-overclock. It can be done automatically via a startup script but I haven't tried it yet (not enough time at work).
