has anybody successfully installed motorola drivers on an xp machine? I've been googling for days and am now pissed. Acts just like the drivers were never installed. will not recognize the phone.
ready to give up. help!

OHHHH i have no clue.

Seems that the net is FULL of people having trouble with them and no good solutions. Found a detailed post from a guy on moto's site, apparently schooling the moto tech dude... didn't help either. I'll keep trying though.

what i did to get it to work on my xp machine is go into the folder that the dirver setup is located in (/hidden/somewhere) and moved it to my sdcard, then i moved it to my computer, installed it manually by opening up the .iso file. (custom.iso) then it worked fine ever since. :D

also, even though it doesnt pick up by itself... you can still go to my computer and open up the removable drive that you think it is and you should be able to acces its contents :)

Yeah ziggy, never had a problem with that. The dev drivers are the ones im dealing with. Trying to use QPST to change prl files and I need the moto drivers installed... 4 different devices, i think. You know, how many times it pops up new device?
