I think its more of an midrange device compared to the samsung captivate. Seems like specs are much closer to the aria except maybe an bit larger screen ?

I think it qualifies for high end.
The processor supposedly is the same as the DX just slightly underclocked. Pretty high resolution WVGA 3.5" screen.
Seems like a Droid 1.5 without keyboard and worse camera. Root it, overclock it, it would be faster than the DX.

I will have to play an nice wait and see game, from what i know about kobe which isnt much it doesnt seem as powerful as the captivate. Captivate seems to have an nicer screen and it has 1 ghz processor as well.
There are many issues i have with the captivate as it is right now , so can wait and see if those get fixed if not and kobe is a mini sized droid x i would definately take a look at it
