Help Motorola Media Link

Just installed this link. It works pretty good if your looking for something to sync your iTunes with your Atrix (or anyother Motorola phones for that matter). I know that there are other programs such as doubletwist, isyncr and iTunes Agent but I just wanted to throw this one out there also for people looking for options.

The syncing is kind of slow...took me close to 10 minutes to get 250 songs over to my SD card but I guess after the initial sync the rest of the times should be fine.

-It does recognize your iTunes
-DOES sync album artwork
-DOES sync iTunes playlists

You can find this on Motorola's website

Hello,

Got a few questions on how to get MML to work for me...

I've been playing with the MML for for the past few days and can't seem to figure out why MML won't link to iTunes. Also if I try to sync with it, it'll sit there (I let it sit for an hour one time...yeah!)

As you can see by the screenshot below the link box is grayed out. I'm running the latest version of iTunes (10.2) on a WinXP box.

I currently don't have an SD card installed (on order) is this the reason why it's not linking to iTunes?

Any help would be great thanks...

I'm almost certain that having (or not having) a SD card would not affect the procedure since when you finish and enter into the main screen it will ask you to sync either to your internal memory or your SD.

Is your Atrix connected to your computer, are you in Phone Portal mode?

Yes, it's connected...MML can see the phone and I'm connecting via USB Connection > Motorola Phone Portal option.

Just can't figure out why iTunes can't be linked in MML?!?

EDIT: Got it to FINALLY link iTunes...after searching the web, making sure iTunes was 'sharing' playlists and still nothing...I wiped iTunes and did a clean install of iTunes...what'd ya know, it works now!
Thanks...
