Help motorola migrate

I have the Moto G and I transferred everything from my old Android using migrate. I recently bought the 16 gig GPE so I could switch back to my previous carrier. The problem I have is when I went to migrate from one Moto to another it won't work. I open migrate on both phones and it will only allow me to transfer to the phone, not from it.. is there another way of doing this?

Copy from phone 1 to your computer, then from your computer to phone 2. Use the USB cable, AirDroid, Wifi File Transfer ...

You can also use a cloud account as an intermediary.

I think Migrate asks you if it's your old or new phone. Are you sure you are not missing that menu?
