Help Motorola Milestone Low On Space

I have only about 10 applications installed and I keep getting a message saying low on space? Why is this, most of my apps use about less then 1 mb of space.

I heard the astro app will help but I dont know how to use it. What's eating up all my space?

Not normal for sure. 5MB would be a lot I would say and 56 is unbelievable.

Are you using some hi-def pics for contacts?

What you can try is check if you have all your contacts on google server and delete all of them from your phone. Synchronize and download them again.

Im not really sure how to do this but after looking at individual contacts I see there is about 50 Facebook profile boxes under call mobile? Is this whats eating all my room, why is there so many and how do I get rid of it?
 
I don't sync my facebook contacts anymore. Never had that problem though but you can erase them. Google may just sync them all back from the email. If you log into your gmail account you can edit them manually.
 
Once again I'm not really sure how to for that, I'm only an amateur and only made a gmail account because it prompted me too. I usually use hotmail.
