Motorola Triumph Battery Sucks

I’m getting an extra 4 or 5 hours using an insanely customized Juice Defender profile. For starters I have JD scale my CPU based on use so it underclocks when the screen is turned off. I have also seen a vast improvement allowing JD to toggle wifi based on the location data the phone is collecting over the Mobil network so it knows when I am in a location I have used Wi-Fi before and will turn off mobile data and connect to the hotspot. After enabling this setting I would recommend looking for a hotspot every ware you go including stores, restaurants, work, fiends, girlfriends. Just look for wifi anytime you are at a location for more than 10 minutes and after a week or two JD will start seamlessly connecting and saving you battery power without you even being aware it is doing so. I also allow JD to turn off 3g/wifi when the screen is off and then turn one or the other on when the screen is turned back on depending on location. I have it set to turn 3g/wifi on every half hour and let my apps sync during work hours. Is set to change to 10 minutes at 5:30 when I am done work and then every 2 hours after 2am until the alarm goes off at 7 just so I don’t wake up to all my apps trying to get online. You can even set a separate schedule for weekends. Anyhow Juice Defender is an awesome app that can give you hours of extra battery life. With exception of the CPU scaling all other Juice Defender options I have listed are available to phones that are not rooted so non rooted phones should also see an improvement of at least a few hours. I would recommend experimenting with the options until you pin down what best suits the way you use the phone. Just don't be overwhelmed as the settings look allot more complicated then they actually are.
