I have the new Motorola xoom called the zoom. I wanted to down load the radar now app. And it will not get full screen. It is the size of the phone app, on the Droid x. This is a notebook system. Any way to make it fit this device. It also stays side ways.

Many of the apps in the market that will run on a tablet have not been optimized yet for tablets so you may see behavior like you described. The ability to rotate the screen within the app is up to the developer..

I've got two apps on the Market myself and am still figuring out how to accomplish those two things (resizing and handling orientation changes). I want to make sure that I don't break things for my users on the older phones since my apps work on any Android 1.5 and up. But the new tablets use many new Honeycomb 3.x APIs that aren't supported by the older phones.

Anyway, chances are that eventually you'll get an update or there'll be a tablet-specific version of the app for your device, just keep checking the Market and the other apps by the developer.
