Help Mouse Pointer

[pbf98]

I was just typing with my bluetooth keyboard today, and I was playing around trying to figure out a way to send a message with one keystroke.. so I pressed ctrl + enter .. and what appeared surprised me, it was a mouse pointer.

So my question is what is it for? I am just confused I guess, can any one shed some light on this?

Thanks

maybe it lets you use your phone as a trackpad... thats my guess

I'm not sure, I tried taking a screen shot of it, but when you touch the screen in goes away.
I got it to move a couple times, but it wasn't really something I was able to repeat. But I do know that it shows up every time I press ctrl and enter...
Also running cm7 if that adds any extra needed info as to what this is

Android has mouse pointer support. Connect a bluetooth mouse or a USB mouse if your phone supports it. Some terrible cheap chinese things use trackpads as a mouse input too.

It's completely worthless and serves no purpose for anyone except for a few bad devices - did you expect anything else from android?
