Help Move apps to SD Card - Only certain apps?

I upgraded my Droid X to 2.2

When I try to move apps to my SD card only certain apps will allow this. Many apps have the "move to SD" button disabled.

Is this the way it's supposed to be?

Apps have to be modified by the software writer in order to be able to live on the SD card. As you have found out, some have been, many haven't. As 2.2 becomes more prevalent, most apps will be modified so they can be moved to SD cards.

Its up to the developer if you can move it -

Like the above says hopefully in the future all or at least the large apps will be transferable.
