Move files from phone - PC and vice versa

I pretty much only use Airdroid now to move files (including ROMs) as my usb connection is on its last legs and constantly crashes my phone and computer trying to transfer filesI have a 40+mb connection at home so I can transfer most stuff in seconds

I use WebSharing Lite from NextApp, Inc. It basically turns your phone into an FTP server.
Very simple to use, and it's secure too. Every time you press the in-app "start" key (which runs FTP server software on the phone, making the phone act like an FTP server) the app generates a randomly generated password that you (or someone you trust) must log in with on the web page the app generates. Then, whoever is at the PC (and logged in) can upload and/or download files to/from the phone.
I've been using it for about two weeks now, and I gotta tell ya, it's a hell of a lot better then using Bluetooth or a USB cable.
And no, I'm not affiliated with that developer in any way.

Air Droid was updated recently - and my God it is amazing now...
Things I have noticed to be great now :
1. You can activate the connection by a QR code instead of typing your IP and passcode
2. You can use it to make screenshots
3. You can see your most frequent contacts
4. There is a small widget that allows you to move things in/out of the clipboard
5. There are a few options like speed install on the top part of the screen
6. You can open url's on your device from the website
7. You can rearrange the icons and there are a few widgets
8. There is now 4 homescreens which I guess are for 4 different devices to be connected
Other things - the app UI us a bit nicer and less iOS like
- a picture that matches your phone appears near you device details
Things I have noticed to be great now :

I have one annoyance when using Directory Opus to communicate with my Android (Galaxy Nexus) phone via ES File Explorer. That is when transferring files from phone to my Windows 7 PC, the timestamp of each file gets changed to the date and time of transfer rather than the original (correct) timestamp on phone. Any clues on how to resolve this?
