I looked closer at their plans, and I can't save money at all. In fact, my bill would go up. Using their configuration tool, I am at $44/mo with (500min/1000txt/1GB) and there's a chance I could go over that. There are surcharges that probably take it close to $50.

VM's $45 plan offers more of everything, and I only pay $38.25/month for that plan.

The only advantage is the assumed roaming agreements given the size of their coverage map. This is a pretty good plan for someone who needs the roaming coverage but take a close look at all of their maps for all services to be sure it will work where you need it to.

Someone mentioned a site that sells top up cards at a 10% discount (or something similar). He could be referring to this. I don't have the information, if anybody knows the site could you please post a link.

There are numerous eBay sellers who offer topups at substantial discount, just do a search on ebay and as always check the seller's feedback rating.

Sorry I missed this. I am actually paying closer to $28 now for the $45 plan. As overbyter said, eBay has many discounted top ups available.
My most recent purchase was a $120 top up for only $67
