Help Moving apps to external sd issue...

Nagrom

Hi guys.

Okay so my wife's just upgraded to the S3 mini, and we're both baffled by a weird problem.

We've both had Androids right from the first generation HTC Desire, and Wildfire, and through every incarnation of Android we've used from Froyo, right up to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 on my Rooted S2, there's ALWAYS been the option in the app settings to move the data to the Sd Card.

However my wife's mini is running Jelly Bean 4.2.1, and this option is missing.

How do you move apps to the external Sd if this option is unavailable. I really don't want to go down the rooting path just yet, though I'm sure you can do this with ease on a rooted phone using say Titanium Backup.

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

Yeh I was a little surprised when I got my mini last week and couldn't use apps2sd as I had on all my other android phones but from what iv read and been told Samsung disabled the feature on the mini and s3 so the only way to move apps is to go down the rooting route. which I can't do as my banking apps won't run on a rooted phone

Bugger. She's not going to like that. I've got no issues with rooting phones, she won't be as keen on the idea.

I just how it's as easy to root aS3 mini, as it was to root my S2.

Thanks.

Sorry guys. The s3 mini has a place for an sd card but samsung disabled the option to move apps there? Thats impossible. It is just an issue for current android version. I think it will be fixed to next update. Also I asked and the rooted s3 mini is slower and less operational than a normal one. So just w8 dont ruin your phone...
