Root Moving apps to sd

I just got the Razr M and rooted it to put it on Page Plus. Everything works but I'm adding some hefty apps (IBirdPro, Sibley Birds, etc) and I'm wanting to move the apps or at least their databases to the sd.

I've done a bit of reading and I keep hearing Link2sd is one of the best ways but it involves partitioning my sd card. I've already been using the phone a few days, downloading apps, setting it up.... is it going to screw up the stuff already on the sd card to partition it? Do I partition it with link2sd or can the phone do it or do I need another app?

I rooted/flashed the phone with step by step instructions; I'm not really very savvy about phones so I'll need basic explanation please!

Thanks!

This is such a late reply, but if you google "how to use link2sd" there are some great guides out there.

Basically what you do is first backup everything from your sdcard to your pc. Either using the phone or a sdcard reader (I used the latter as it's needed for the rest of the steps). Then using a sdcard reader plug yourcard into your pc and use the software to partition your sdcard into two partitions. The first one as primary (and larger) as FAT32 for regular storage, the second one (also as primary) but as one of three: EXT2, EXT3, or EXT4; that is the one that link2sd uses.

The above is just a very, very brief explanation to quickly answer part of your question.

good luck
