Moving cursor left/right when writing SMS

[Hawker]

Are there any keys you can press to do this?
If I tap to the place I want to go, 9 times out of 10 its 1 or 2 characters out, and the only way to then move the cursor is to drag the blue marker. I find this extremely annoying and awkward.

It would be so much nicer to just be able to move the cursor via a key press. Is there any way to do this?

thanks
