Help Moving data from old EVO LTE to M8

O got a new HTC ONE M8 yesterday and I cannot figure out how to move the data from two apps ("Notes" and "Smart Shortcuts"). I added the apps from Playstore, but how can I move the data from old phone to the new one. NOT rooted - both stock.

In your Google setting for the evo LTE, do you have sync app data checked?

If so, the data should be restored on the m8 if you allow restore account information during the setup

HELP!!! here is the sync setting, can't locate it. How do I then proceed?

(I was able to move Music, contacts, calendar, SMS & MMS over using the HTC transfer tool.
