moving emails to different folders?

[kathayes]

I do not see an option for moving an email to a different folder in either the email or gmail apps. How is this done?

Thanks.

Hi
Open the email
Menu-move and select the folder

Gmail uses tags/labels not folders so an email can have more than one association

I'm noticing that some options are available when it is in vertical or horizontal mode. Either way, I open the email, select the menu button next to the home button but still do not see a way to move the email?

Thanks.

When I press menu with an open email the second item down in the pop up list is move. You may have to scroll the list. .. same in both orientations.

With an email open, the second item on the list from the menu is Save email.
I'm on Verizon.

Thanks for your help.
