Help Moving everything to SD card

tariqio

Lurker
Hello

I have HTC Wildfire S and when I go to Menu > Settings > SD & phone storage > Make more space > All applications > Move apps to SD card <<< it says "nothing to Move" to "Move to SD card" and it says "Application (30/150MB) I removed everything removable!
Some applications has been moved to SD card, some has not! How can I move everything to SD card? My SD card is 32GB and there are way lots of space!

Thank you

Greetings tariqio,

You can't move everything to SD. When you move apps to SD, only some of the app is moved. There will still be some residual parts of the app that remain on your device.

Also, not all apps are movable. Some apps don't function well when they are moved to SD.

So in summation, you can move some apps to SD but you will still use some of the built in memory on the phone for app storage. Sorry, it's just the way it works.

Hope this helps

Hello and welcome aboard. I've moved your thread to its correct forum for some responses.

Here's another way of doing this process: menu - settings - applications - storage use - on sd card. Select the app you want to move. This seems to work much better.

Remember that some apps/widgets don't function properly when stored on the sd card.
