but i still love my OG droid and fool with it alot-changing roms,etc. as we were talkin about in your other post,theres alot you can still do over wifi

You have that right. The roms are few and far between compaired to the droid. I am just running stock right now and LP and really liking it. The larger screen was really a bigger bonus that I thought. My eyes were really struggling with the droid.
One thing I am amazed at with X is the battery life out of the box. I ran it pretty hard all day yesterday and woke up with 50% left. Never got that with my droid (although in fairness I hardly went a day without flashing something new to the droid
I will probably keep lurking around here to see the latest and greatest. I am not all that excited about rooting the x. It just does not seem to do that much for performance and the roms are not really as exciting and what we have here. We shall see.....
i agree. since you cant change the kernal theres not a whole lot you can do with one to make one rom different than others. only reasons,really would be if you want to wifi tether(you could then be a hotspot for your droid
),use drocap,or titanium backup,or other root apps
