Root Moving stuff from small sd to bigger sd/using L2SD

I rooted my Optimus V and am loving it.

Was hoping to get around the internal memory issues with rooting, and to greatest extent possible, use a sd to do away with the Low Storage Blues.

I started out with a 2gb card - way to go on that, but until my hopes are dashed, I am hoping to transfer those contents to a 16gb

QUestion 1: I was also hoping to use Link2sd to transfer whatever can function on the sd off the phone. The program says I need to partition the 16gb drive into 2 parts (FAT). I did so on my Mac using Disk Utility. Do I need to name the two partitions anything specifically?

Question 2: How do I transfer the goodies on my 2gb sd to the partitioned 16gb? I suppose I will be setting my droid up as a USB device and go back and forth....

But is there an exact way to do this, so I am not crying into my pillow like I did last night when I had a hiccup in Gingerbreak?

I'm glad to see you got your phone all fixed up.

Since you are rooted now, you should post in the all things root subforum, thanks, plus you will get more help in that forum if you have root.
