MP3 ringtones on the gio?

Hey forum!

I just got a Gio last week, and for some reason, it doesn't seem to have an option for using MP3's as ring tones. I have, so far, not found a way to use an mp3 file as a ringtone, nor any way to install new ring tones on the phone.

Does anyone here know a way for me to do this?

yes when you've added music to your GIO go to ur music library and choose whichever file u want and tap down on it and keep it down till a menu appears you will see set as ringtone down the bottom. for changing sms tone to an mp3 you have to go my files> media> audio > notifications and copy and paste the mp3 in there then go back to settings and go to the notifications tone option and search for the mp3 in there.

To me it worked only the part with setting up a ringtone to sms messeges. I tried something for setting up a ringtone to my calls also and i created a folder on my memory card and named it "Ringtones". After that i moved/copy the songs i wanted to set up in that folder. Then i went to Settings>Sound>Phone ringtone> and scrolled down. I found the song i wanted, the one i moved.
I hope this was some kind of assistance to you on the topic.

Hi tried this and on the Gio I have it goes to my files but after that there is no media file, there is a separate audios file but then theres no notifications file anyone help
