Help MP3 Stream, Streaming Media Player, & Facebook Videos

Sorry but I posted several months ago and could not find any resolution, talked to HTC support todaywho states these should all work but nothing they tried worked (was not impressed with their support), and I have tried researching these on this forum and still can't find anything that got these issues working. Hoping someone on this forum will have the solution...

Can't play embedded videos on Face Book since the latest software update. Is this a facebook issue or a Evo issue?

I have never been able to play streaming MP3 stream from radio staions.
It appears to be a media player MP3 file. I've tried many of the 3rd party apps but haven't been able to find on that will play it. The player just downloads a small file and then gets an unrecgonized file error.

The Evo has a Streaming Media Player listed under Settings, Apps, All Apps, but the file size is 0. It is not listed in the drawer that shows all apps. Just wondering if this is not working and could be causing my problems?

Check the Sirius/XM not working thread. We are experiencing the same issue. There is a fix, but it requires you calling into Sprint. Hopefully, Sprint or HTC is aware of this, and will fix asap.

thanks, I guess that was my problem, I called HTC instead of Sprint. I'll see if I can find the support number for Sprint. I must say I was not impressed with the knowledge of the HTC support person. I'll go check out the XM thread...thanks
