i posted this in the ascend forums when i first started here and dived in with both feet to the android world, the post about custom system sounds got me thinking about sharing it with my fellow esteemers out there.
Online Audio Converter (MP3, WAV, Ogg, WMA, M4A, AAC) – media.io
personally i have used this to replace sound files in system/media/audio/ui-ringtones-notifications, just make sure after you convert, you rename to the exact file your replacing, ie, "fire.ogg" for camera click would have to be renamed to "camera_click", etc, etc
i put this up in case you have a crappy laptop/pc (like me) with 5gb hdd and cant download anything without uninstalling something, or just needed to find a converter cause your just starting off customizing.
