Mp4?

I can't play mp4 files on my Eris... when I try to load them all I get is audio and a black screen. Any one know how to fix this?

Hmmm,

I have a huge video library from my DVD's they I have backed up using handbreak. I just encode them into the premade iPhone/Ipod setting and they have all played with no problem on my Eris.

I know if you try to load your movies on your Eris using Double Twist, it will encode them on the fly to work properly.

These are all from my SD card. do I have to convert them to a different format?

Sounds like you're using an unsupported video resolution. I haven't done much research into what the Eris supports, but I use Videora to convert movies to iPod Touch format (H.264 480x320) and that works fine for me.
