MPJ 2300mah battery

Bought this battery for my S2
..2300mah MPJ from ebay..

Charged it fully with supplied charger before putting it into the phone.
Downloaded several battery monitor apps.. they show that the capacity is only 1650mah WTF??

Wiped battery stats from recovery, still the same..
Also, the battery doesn't seem to last any longer..

has anyone had any experience with extended batteries?
Shouldn't it show 2300mah in the app??
 
IF it is the same size as the OEM battery it can not be REALLY 2300mha. There is no way to cram more power in the same size battery using the same chemistry.

But the Chinese are making a fortune off people who can't figure that out!
