Root msl code

i posted a question bout prl and got alot of good answers thank you guys. but still cant retrieve my msl code none of the ways are working. i dial ##33284# and it says this is not a valid operation code. and my alogger has nothing to log. pls help me im on the phone with virgin mobile but cant get thru.

You have to be on stock.

It only works on the Stock ROM. You cannot be on CM7 or its variants. You also don't actually call the number, you just input into the numberpad. You are also missing another # at the end

i just got off the phone with vm and they say it is there policy not to give out msl code and the girl on the computer seemed like she typed it into the search in her computer and got nothing so f*** it.
im going to do the whole flash / stock rom thing now.

One # at the end is enough.

^yeah I don't remember its been a long time since I've input the codes. All the other codes seem to have either ## on both ends or #* *#. Anyways good you got your MSL

now i got qpst on and any cut, shorcut to hold port open works and now i can see my phone in qpst and when i got to service programming it says online connection error unsuspected error. using windows 7 if that matters

I know very little about win 7, and i can't really think of what may cause an error like that since you've gotten that far.
Edit:
You did choose diagnosis port in your anycut shortcut and have USB debugging on in the phone, right?
