Hi all,
I'm a help desk tech at a university and we just switched from an on campus Exchange server to Microsoft's Live@edu, which is essentially MSLive for colleges.
I was able to access mail on Exchange using Corporate Sync without any issues, both on stock verizon and Unleashed v1.1. Since the move I am unable to access my work mail account. I have the new server info, username info, password, all is correct. I cannot set the account up as corporate sync (MSLive is Exchange based, so it should work). I get a message that Motorola Accounts has force closed after inputting my email address, username, and password in the account set up. I can go back into accounts after the force close, and input the server and security settings, then launch the mailbox, but I get a connection error. Setting it up as IMAP allows me to access my mail, but not send mail (that also generates an error). I don't want to use IMAP though since I need my Calendar too.
I have a user with a Droid3, unrooted, who gets the exact same force closes and errors I do, and I have had other techs I work with input their account information to try set it up, and have the same results.
Has anyone else experienced a problem getting their MSLive accounts to work on the Bionic? I'm afraid this might be a problem that Motorola has to fix...
Thanks!
