Help MT Sound Quality

OverByter

Resident Slide Rule Guru
How do most people find the sound quality on their MT? I'm amazed that the sound on my Triumph is actually quite good considering how most parts were apparently whatever's cheapest works . Output power however doesn't seem to be very strong, I have to run a headphone amp with most of my better earphones. What's your experience?

My experience has been pretty decent with headphones... the speakers on it suck, but through headphones not bad. When I first got my MT and it was still on stock the sound was actually too loud. At the lowest volume it was at like 5 or 6 bars compared to every other phone I have used. Although once I went to cm7 it stopped being so loud...

TL;DR Sound quality is decent for me through headphones, but sucks through the speakers on it.

My external speakers are actually nice. They sound good. As for the headphones... they are ok. (Maybe just my headphones) there's not really anything bad about them that I can point out, but they sound way different

I was pleasantly surprised with my sound. The speakers are clear and loud. i recently was painting the whole interior of a house and I just set the Triumph up in the center of the house, turned on internet radio and was able to easily listen to the phone from everywhere in the house. On the flip side, i also had it outside on top of my caer as I worked on the engine with the hood up and it wasn't loud enough so I plugged it into the AUX jack on my car stereo. but that was outside.
I use a pair of Phillips Marshmallow ear buds and the sound, again, is clear and loud. Using my IOGear Bluetooth headphones sounds just as good. But using my Samsung HM1610 Bluetooth headset, it doesn't seem to get as loud. But that might be because it's only going in one ear.
Overall, it's been performing well for what I need.

FWIW: I don't like using headphones or earbuds, and don't want to needlessly cycle the headphone jack anyway.

I have had good success with purchasing a few inexpensive "A2DP Bluetooth Receiver" (s) off of eBAY, and connecting those to amplified computer speakers. Then I just leave BT on, and use that exclusively if at home or in the car.
