mtp error 10 please some 1 help.

HI Guys,

so i have rooted and installed the beta 12 ics and its awesome and works so well, but im having a massive issue using the phone as mass storage.


i have tried kies
downloaded android sdk and google usb driver


i get the message mtp failed errror code 10..

and for the life offf me get this dam phone connect to my computer.

i have a windows 7 32 bit.


does any1 have the driver download for me or another way to do it?

Mass storage should work with the generic storage drivers already on your computer. Are you mounting the internal storage to USB after plugging your phone into the computer? Perhaps this is a bug in the beta at the moment.

If you're just trying to get files on your phone, I'd suggest using something like SwiFTP from the Marketplace. It runs a simple FTP server on your phone which you can connect to using a Windows app like Filezilla.

This is because of the build ! My phone runs excellent with CM7 - #255 [cause 7.1.0.1 and latest nightly are messed up !], but when i installed the ICS [koush] alpha bu [it's not even a beta !! be careful with the terms !] build ,i had problems with volume keys ,mass storage ,random reboots ,camera etc..

I suggest to wait untill a beta [..AT LEAST !] build is out and stick to your CM7 for now !
