Multi-Tasking

when in a call, tap and hold the menu key. up pops some icons of apps you have used. click on the one you want to get to. OR just tap menu to get to the home screen....

Why when I'm on a phone call (bluetooth) I can't access other apps:like Mail

Meaning....you can't even open the app? or can't retrieve your mail? if the latter, it's because you are using the 3g cdma network without wifi and/or 4g, which does not support talk/data at the same time.

It multi-tasks so weirdly. Like if I dial some numbers on the phone app. Then go to the email or text to make sure the number is right. I go back to the phone and it has erased the number. The pre for instance, does not do this.

I do think that Android multi-tasks quite well... but, Palm WebOS has the best multi-tasking ability I've ever seen on any handheld device.

This isn't a multi-tasking issue, per se...it's the phone app. Linux is the best multi-tasking operating system ever to go on a cell-phone. The phone app needs more polish though. What is weird is that android provides a simple way to avoid these kinds of problems built right into the API. Looks like the phone app dev kinda blew it...I'm guessing the phone app hasn't kept up with the API.
