Help multi touch. there may be hope

I was out with a buddy last night. He has I believe an HTC magic. He was stuck on Android 1. 5 for ever and finally got 2.1. And as a bonus his phone now has multi touch. So hopefully we get some of the same treatment if we ever get past 1.6. Though I'd pass it along
