Multimedia dock mod

Just thought I post this little mod I made to my multimedia dock. I got sick of having to have a separate charger for my Bluetooth headset so I hacked my dock with a mini USB port so I could "dock" my headset behind my smartphone when it's charging. Now I can use one charger to charge both my phone and Bluetooth. If there is any interest I can post a tutorial on how to do this yourself.

Dude, that is friggin' AWESOME! I don't have nor ever will use a desk dock, but I still like it. I'm a big fan of extra batteries and battery only chargers.

Interestingly enough, I saw an after market dock that had a battery charger built into it - so you could dock your phone and charge your extra battery simultaneously.

My headphones are (currently) the S9 HD - it would require a little bit of finesse to get that hacked so I could charge it with the phone. Still, though, this is a nice concept - you might could even market it (hint hint)

Where's the tutorial, i just found the Motorola dock at Goodwill for $2 and need to mod it to fit my T-mobile G2, and I could do the bluetooth at the same time, as soon as I find the best way to get it open.
