Multimedia Dock Options?

Just got my dock. I've got pandora running in the "background" but don't have any controls other than volume while the phone is docked. Is there any way to change to configuration to allow for Pandora control while docked?

Go back to the Pandora app (Notification area, then select Pandora) and then adjust the volume from there using the rocker, which will be on top of the phone while it is in the dock.

From there, press home to return to the multimedia home screen.

I don't believe you can adjust the volume from there.

Thanks, you solved my problem but on accident.

Just an FYI, you can adjust media volume from the multimedia home screen by way of the rocker.

What I couldn't figure out was how to get back to pandora music controls because I would hit the menu button and only get the weather. I didn't even think about hitting the notification bar to access it that way!

Thanks!

Any time you have an ongoing task (Navigation, music player, pandora playing, etc) it will show up at the top of the notification window as an "Ongoing" task. From there you can see the details about it (route information, song playing, etc) and click back onto it to go back to that application.

I love the multimedia dock except for one thing, it's too bright at night. The light bulb icon does make dimmer and more relaxed, but the buttons on the bottom of the phone are lit up to full brightness. Anyone know of any apps or options within the phone's software that allows me to turn off the buttons?

Also, anyone have any app recommendations for setting notifications? I'd like my phone to ring at night only when it's in its cradle. Right now, to keep it from chirping with every email, I have to set it to silent, which also turns the phone ringer off.

TOTALLY AGREE on the brightness issue. Would LOVE an app that gives more customization when in-dock (i.e. why not have a setting that dims to 5% between the hours of 11pm - 6am).

Any devs out there working on this?

For brightness issues, while in the multimedia station, turn off your phone and turn it back on. The soft keys will stay off as well this way. Nice dim clock now. Can't help with the sound issue I am afraid.

Go to the market and download "Bedside". It is what I use for my default app when plugged into my dock. Dimmer than the stock dock app and fully customizable. I think it may cost like 1.99 but you can always return if your not satisfied.

I would like to know how to turn off that green light that comes on and flashes at night, does anyone know?
