Help Multimedia dock screen fails to load

Since the GB update my phone usually refuses to go into the Dock screen when I dock it. I can power cycle it, do a battery pull, and even install Alarm Clock Pro but I either get the normal lock screen or the home screen. The dock screen is supposed to stay on but the other screens don't. Can I have the annoying dock sound back and at least have a working bedside clock again?

Mine goes into the media dock screen upon first placing my DX2 on the dock. And if I close the dock via the X on the top left corner it goes away and stays away whereas on the X with GB it would return after hitting the home button. So I am not sure what is going on here.

At first mine wasn't going into the dock screen either after the GB update. I tried rebooting the phone and unplugging and replugging the dock while phone was docked, did a battery pull, and something in that process actually fixed it. It seems to be working fine now that I did all that.

I have done all that and more and still the Home button is dead. I think I am going to be forced into yet another full wiped reset this weekend.

Settings>applications>running: look for Motorola dock services and close the program. Restart the phone.
So far it seems to have fix it. Fingers crossed and hoping!!!!

I did ANOTHER painful full reset and the home button is now back. Can't tell you what a pain that was when it failed to work. It still fails to load the Dock screen regularly but at least the Home button takes you there now. Next I need to see if the Car Dock issue is fixed. The one where it says it's still charging after you unDock it, and I believe it also runs the battery dead in the process. Unless you reboot the phone.
