Hi Guys,

Is there any way to make the Atrix connected to the multimedia dock transfer files to a computer through the USB ports?

Mine is connected, but I couldn

I guess I don't understand what you're asking. The "computer" that drives the multimedia dock is the Atrix itself, you don't hook that dock up to a PC.

If you want to transfer data to/from the Atrix / Your PC, you can either (a) plug the Atrix into the PC directly with a USB cable and mount it, or (b) do so via a Bluetooth file share.

There are probably other ways as well, but those are the two that pop into my head immediately.

Yeah, but the multimedia dock has three USB ports on its back. So, I thought I could use one of them to connect to the PC, so I can leave the other cable at home, and use the dock in the office. And no, I cannot transfer data via Bluetooth because my P.O.S. laptop does not have Bluetooth...

But I think those ports are there only to connect a keyboard and a mouse, not to transfer files...

The usb ports on the back can be used to plug in usb flash drives. I'm pretty sure keyboard and mouse as well, I can check in the morning. I use the bluetooth keyboard and mouse that came with the multi-media dock. It works great hooked up to speakers and TV. Far more worth the money than the laptop dock.
