Help multiple contact google accounts

Please forgive my lack of searching. Im at work and dont have much time. Mu husband and I have just switched from Tmobile to Verizon, and when I got my contacts switched over I literally have 4 of almost every contact. Granted they are all "joined" and under the same name, but its just too much. Is there anyway to get them down to just 1 each? For instance my husband is attached to 3 google accounts. So in his contact, I have 3 different numbers/emails/addresses etc.

Im not the most tech savvy, so please help break this down for me!!

Thank you guys!!!!

Hi @mama2kjade :)

The built-in contacts application should have an option to Merge/Join duplicate entries. I don't have an LG so I don't know what that option looks like in their app.

There are also a number of apps on the Play Store that aim to simplify the process. I did it once when I first moved to Android, but I can't remember which app I used. I'd suggest taking a look at this one though: Simpler Merge Duplicates. Let us know how it goes!
