Help Multiple gmail account issue

I have two gmail accounts on my phone. One is my primary, and the other is my professional. When I receive new emails from the primary, I receive the notification instantly. However, the professional never shows a notification, even while on WiFi. I have to physically open the app and see the number of mail to that account.

I have deleted the data in the gmail storage under manage applications in the settings, with no luck.

Does anybody have any other suggestions? Any help would be appreciated greatly.

go to accounts &sync in your settings and check sync mail under that account
i have 3 gmail address and all work
