I am sure I tried that million times, but add account wasn't showing till got two accounts setup - after that it was there.
Frankly I can't believe the stupidity from Samsung - the POP3 setup ordeal is over, I found it by mistake/playing.
This is how:
Accounts and sync
Add account
Yahoo! Mail
here you can setup your new POP3 account (you will have that choice at the end)
BTW: once you setup more then two POP3 you can go then just to your email folder/icon - press left bottom button and just add more account.
Incredible, but it works. No need for other email client like K9 etc. Now it works same like on iPhone4

4.This is the bit that took ages to find. Scroll down and UNTICK the "push notification" box. this miraculously brings up the manual set up box on the bottom left.
