Help Multiple Popups for Texts

I've searched the threads for this but have yet to find an answer. I installed Handcent and SMS Popup and every time I get a text, I get a popup from handcent and a popup from the stock messaging app. I tried everything that was said to fix the problem and all that did was stop the notifications from the stock app from coming up in the status bar. I'm still getting a popup from both apps and would like to just have handcent show up. Thanks.

i'm a little confused. You installed an app called "SMS Popup" and now you're concerned that you're getting popup notifications from Handcent AND another messaging app? Uninstall the SMS Popup app dude.

They're two separate apps that allow popups so that's why you get two. Just uninstall SMS Popup.
