Multiple PS3's in the same room?

I know it's completely possible to have multiple PS3's in the same household on the same network, but what about multiple PS3's in the same room? How will the wireless controllers know which system to operate? I'm probaby thinking too hard about this.

It is a differences bluetooth address, should be fine.

So would I just need to physically connect the controller to the new PS3 in order to readdress the controller to the new system?

Well I dont remember how i first set up my ps3. i think it came pre paired.. but like you cant just take your ps3 controller to someones house and it works with their ps3. It needs to be Paired with the ps3 your wanting to use it with. So thats why it should be fine to have a million ps3 in the same room all working wirelessly.

I think the option is in the system settings.

You might run into a networking problem though if you attempt online gaming with multiple PS3's (depending on the router you have though).
