Help Multiple Recipients issue

Has anyone found a way to select multiple recipients whilst creating a text message? I had a Desire before and the SMS recipient field was linked to the contacts list; in ICS it doesn't appear to be.

Granted, it does suggest contacts after you type two characters, but this is hardly intuitive and relies on you being able to remember every single contact in your list!

If anyone's found a native workaround (as opposed to a third-party app) I'd be interested to hear of it.

only way i have found to do it is as you described. type the name select it, start typing another select it...so on and so on.

Wow. This is an amazing step backwards - quite often I find myself wanting to send a message (say, an invite) to a number of people and doing it this way requires me to remember who I've got stored in my phone...

Bad Google.

it hasn't been an issue for me. If i want to send it to 5 different people i just start typing their name. When it populates i select it. Done

I'm finding out that Go sms Pro and ICS browser+ are far superior then what the phone came with. Go check them out if you have any interest to deviate from stock. ; )
