Multiple Screens on HTC Evo

Is there a way to get rid of the extra screens (3 to left and right of home screen) on the HTC Evo? I have everything I want on one screen using folders, so I would rather have the extra screens not be there at all. Is there any way to set the amount of screens used?

you can do that with launcher pro, I don't think you can with the stock sense

And no, you cant do it with stock sense. You would have to root and run a custom rom.

Yes. You can do it. As mentioned before by Jack, you will need LauncherPro. It allows you to select the number of slides on your phone, as well as which slide you'd like to set as your home slide.

It has many pros, such as allowing you to easily change out the stock icons for custom icons.

As you can see, I'm using it here, and swapped out my icons for text.
