Help Multiple SIM contacts

Hi

I have a Desire HD which seems to have multiple contacts for most of my contacts - i went into contact (people tag) and changed to only show phone (had over 3000 on SIM)?????

Now reduced to 200 odd which is managable - yet when i try to send a message all those SIM contact still show up - any idea how to get RID of sim contacts full stop - as i have all the contact i need on the actual phone which i can copy accross at a later date.

Driving me crazy to have to scroll theough tonnes of contacts to find the one i actuially want.

Any help would be really grateful

I had that problem and i had to delete mannualy every single duplicated contact......if you can,backup your sim contacts on PC,format sim memory,and than download from market Contact2Sim and send those you need to sim!Its some kind of a bug most likely,but now I dont have that problem.hope it helps.

I had this problem. Just restart the phone (press 'restart' option. Shutting down and switching on wont do any good). Then the duplicates will be gone Its a bug. So just ignore it at the moment.
